Hover the notch, then poke Notchy

One notch. Everything at a glance.

Playing, quietly.

A tiny pill with artwork and a mascot that bops along — and rests when you pause.

Hover for the whole player.

Title, artist and controls on Liquid Glass. Every app that plays shows up — even several at once.

Claude, at a glance.

See what every Claude Code session is doing right now, with a live timer for the turn.

Approve without switching.

Permission requests open in the notch. Allow, deny, or jump straight to the right terminal tab.

Know when it's done.

A finished turn pops open with its summary, then gets out of your way.

Downloads, at a glance.

Every download and copy shows its progress, speed and time left — and jumps to the file when it's done.

Drag anywhere. Drop on the notch.

Start dragging files and the notch opens up to meet you — let go, and AirDrop takes it from there.

Meet Notchy

A tiny friend
who lives in your notch.

When nothing's going on, the notch shows the time and Notchy. Hover for a hello. Notchy greets your mornings, dozes off when things go quiet, sleeps through the night — and loves a little poke.

Hello

Click Notchy

A mood for every moment.

Music

Every player.
One place.

Apple Music, Spotify, a video in Safari or Chrome — Notchly finds whatever's playing and gives each its own row and controls. The list stays in order, so nothing jumps around under your cursor.

Downloads

Watch it land.

Downloads from Safari, Chrome and Firefox, Finder copies and moves, files arriving by AirDrop — the notch shows how far along each one is, how fast it's going, and how long is left. When it's done, one click takes you to the file.

AirDrop

Drop it
on the notch.

Start dragging from Finder, the Desktop or Mail and the notch opens into a drop zone before you even get there. Prefer to gather first? Fill the AirDrop shelf, review the thumbnails, and send it all at once.

Claude Code

Your agents,
in plain sight.

Connect Claude Code once and every session — in any terminal or editor — reports in. Follow progress, approve tool calls and answer Claude's questions right from the notch.

Settings

Make it yours.

Keep only what you use. Switch Music, Claude, Downloads or the drop zone on and off, choose what the quiet notch shows, and tune every sound — all from the menu bar icon.

The details

Small touches.
Big difference.

Liquid Glass

On macOS 26, expanded cards fade from the black of the camera housing into real Liquid Glass. Earlier versions get a matching translucent blur.

Every Mac

No notch? Notchly draws one at the top of your screen, so Mac mini, iMac and Studio users get it too.

A sound for every moment

Soft, short sounds when something starts — never on every loop. Each one has its own switch.

Stays on your Mac

No account, no cloud. Claude Code talks to Notchly over a local-only connection.

Leaves no trace

Disconnect Claude Code from the menu bar and Notchly removes only its own hooks — your settings are backed up first.

Five pages, one tap away

Home, Claude, Music, Transfers and AirDrop live in a floating glass tab bar. Your pick is remembered — only an agent waiting on you can interrupt.

Say hello to Notchly.

Open the disk image and drag Notchly to Applications. That's it.
